Dr. Leslie Ann Jones, DVM, MVB, MRCVS, CVA, CVMMP grew up in Water Mill, New York, and found her way back to Virginia after a wonderfully winding journey. She completed her undergraduate studies at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, earned a degree in marine biology from Long Island University–Southampton College, and then followed her passion for animal health across the Atlantic to the University College Dublin Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ireland.
After two years of practicing in New York, Dr. Jones returned to Virginia and founded Woodlake Animal Hospital in 2011. For more than two decades, Central Virginia has been her professional home, and she is deeply grateful to care for such a kind, dedicated, and animal-loving community.
Dr. Jones has a special interest in integrative and holistic medicine, dermatology, behavioral medicine, and nutrition, and she enjoys creating thoughtful, individualized care plans for her patients. When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll often find her riding her horse, traveling or spending time outdoors, surrounded by her own animals—dogs, cats, chickens, and all.
Meghan Berry, DVM is a veterinarian practicing in the Midlothian area, where she was raised. She earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University, majoring in both Biology and Health Sciences, before venturing to London where she completed her veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in 2019. After her travels she felt it best to return home to serve the community that shaped her, caring for animals and the people who love them.
Dr. Berry has a strong passion for surgery and is equally committed to preventative care and thoughtful pain management. She believes the best outcomes combine skilled surgical intervention with proactive, preventive approaches that support long-term health and quality of life. Clear communication, compassion, and individualized care are central to her approach with every patient.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Berry enjoys life with her husband, Joe, and their son, Ledger. Their home is shared with three dogs, a cat, a horse, and twelve chickens, giving her a deep, personal understanding of the human-animal bond. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her ever-growing menagerie.
Dr. Berry is proud to practice at Woodlake Animal Hospital and is dedicated to providing high-quality, empathetic veterinary care to the community she calls home.
Dr. Berger was born and raised just outside of Portland, Oregon. Her interest in veterinary medicine started young and she started volunteering at her local zoo at 12 years old (lions, tigers, and bears….oh my!). After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Mills College in Oakland, CA she pursued her DVM at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. She first met Dr. Jones in Port Jervis, NY when they were both new graduates. After a 14 year return to the Bay Area of California, Dr. Berger returned to the East Coast in 2018 and considers herself very lucky to be working with her friend and colleague again. Dr. Berger lives with her husband and her teenage daughter and when she’s not at work she enjoys traveling, cooking, crochet, hunting for the best oyster bar in Virginia, and reading. Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, dentistry, geriatric care, and pain management. Dr. Berger is also conversational in Spanish.
Dr. Jennifer Corbin is a proud Hokie who spent eight memorable years in Blacksburg and would happily return there in retirement—especially as she watches the active resuscitation of Virginia Tech football with cautious optimism!
A veterinarian for more than 22 years, Dr. Corbin has spent the last five years in emergency practice and has been providing veterinary relief coverage at Woodlake for over a decade. It remains her favorite practice in town thanks to the leadership and support of Dr. Leslie Jones and longtime practice administrator Bobby Becker, as well as the exceptional medical and customer service team. She especially appreciates Woodlake’s culture of compassionate, realistic expectations for its team of veterinarians.
At home, Dr. Corbin loves her Frenchie and two cats like her human kids. She is currently working toward board certification as a feline specialist, with the goal of opening Richmond’s only feline-exclusive hospital by 2028. She has been married for almost 25 years, is a boy mom of 3, and currently finds herself becoming a full-fledged bird nerd!
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Easter enjoys spending time with her husband, her high school sweetheart, and their two children. Her empathy, expertise, and dedication continue to make her a valued part of the EVH family.
